Editorial Policy
Effective 5 October 2026. This policy describes how Klymer develops, reviews and corrects editorial material.
1. Mission
Klymer explains sports physiology, endurance and functional training for adult readers aged 35 and beyond. We favour useful context over sensational claims.
2. Independence
Editorial decisions are separate from advertising discussions. A commercial relationship must not determine a conclusion, headline or omission.
3. Sources
Writers consult established research, professional guidance and clearly identified subject expertise. Sources are assessed for relevance, date, method and conflict.
4. Health Claims
We avoid guarantees, cure language and fear-based persuasion. Individual outcomes vary, and claims are framed with appropriate uncertainty.
5. Review
Drafts are reviewed for accuracy, clarity, accessibility and responsible scope. Medical or technical questions may be referred to a qualified reviewer before publication.
6. Corrections
Readers may report an error with a link and explanation. Material corrections are made promptly and dated; minor wording changes may be recorded in internal review notes.
7. Conflicts
Writers disclose relevant professional, financial or personal interests to the editorial desk. A conflict does not always prevent publication, but it must be managed transparently.
8. Images
Images are selected for relevance and dignity. Alt text describes the visual information without exaggerating what a reader can infer from a photograph.
9. User Contributions
Messages may inform future coverage but are not published automatically. We remove unnecessary personal or medical details and seek permission before identifying a contributor.
10. Updating
Pages are reviewed during the 2026 editorial cycle and when a significant source changes. The page date communicates the last substantive review rather than a promise of constant monitoring.
11. Complaints
Contact Klymer at Jalan Anggrek Raya No. 15, Kemanggisan, Palmerah, Jakarta Barat 11480, Indonesia, or +62 813 5792 4680. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 10 working days.
12. Revision Log
5 October 2026: initial publication. Revisions will include dated entries and a summary of the change.
Editorial operating detail
Coverage is planned around durable questions rather than a promise of a particular result. Articles identify their publication or review date where relevant, distinguish observation from evidence and avoid presenting a general training idea as suitable for every reader. The editorial desk may archive a page when its sources or context no longer support useful reading.
Corrections are assessed by impact. A factual error, misleading number, wrong attribution or material omission is dated on the page when corrected; minor spelling or formatting changes may not receive a public note. Readers can contact the desk through contact.php or at Jalan Anggrek Raya No. 15, Kemanggisan, Palmerah, Jakarta Barat 11480, Indonesia, phone +62 813 5792 4680.
We normally acknowledge a correction report within five business days and aim to complete an initial review within 30 calendar days. A report is more useful when it includes the page link, the relevant sentence, the proposed correction and a reliable source. Personal attacks, promotional copy and unsupported claims may be excluded from the review queue.
Images and commissioned material are checked for permission, relevance and respectful representation. Alt text describes observable content and does not infer a person's diagnosis, ability or character. Commercial relationships, affiliate arrangements and gifts are recorded internally and disclosed where they could reasonably affect reader interpretation.
Change record: this policy is effective 5 October 2026. The desk will review it annually and record material changes involving sources, review standards, correction handling, sponsorship separation or contributor privacy.
The mission covers articles, field notes, explainers, image captions, newsletters and corrections published under Klymer. The intended audience is adult readers aged 35 and beyond, but age alone does not determine whether a topic is appropriate for an individual. Writers favour context, plain explanation and practical limits over dramatic framing.
Sources are recorded with enough detail for an editor to check the claim, including publication, date, relevant method and any known conflict. A single source may be insufficient for a broad statement, and older material is reconsidered when newer evidence changes the context. Uncertainty is retained when the available information does not support a firmer conclusion.
Commercial relationships are reviewed separately from editorial assignments. A sponsor may receive placement visibility, but does not select a conclusion, remove an unfavourable limitation or approve a correction. Paid content is labelled under the Advertising And Sponsorship Policy, and the label remains visible when the material is shared.
Correction reports should include the URL, exact wording, reason for concern and a source where available. Klymer normally acknowledges a report within five business days and aims to complete an initial review within 30 calendar days. Records of material corrections may be retained for the life of the article, while routine correspondence is normally reviewed for deletion after 24 months.
Images are checked for permission, relevance, dignity and accurate alt text. User messages are not treated as published endorsements, and identifying details are removed unless permission is clear. Change record: this policy is effective 5 October 2026 and will be reviewed in October 2027 or sooner after a material change to sources, contributors, sponsorship or correction practice.
