Advertising And Sponsorship Policy
Effective 5 October 2026. Klymer may publish clearly identified advertising while protecting editorial independence and reader trust.
1. Separation
Advertising is visually separated from articles and cannot purchase a favourable editorial conclusion. Editors retain control over headlines, sources and publication decisions.
2. Identification
Paid placements are labelled advertising, sponsored content or another clear equivalent. Labels should be visible before a reader mistakes commercial material for independent reporting.
3. Health Categories
We do not accept claims that promise cures, guaranteed outcomes or instant transformation. Products connected to exercise must avoid unsafe instructions and unsupported medical statements.
4. Audience
Klymer serves adults aged 35 and beyond. Ads must not exploit age, anxiety, medical concerns or financial vulnerability. Targeting must not infer a sensitive health condition from reading behaviour.
5. Review
Commercial creative is reviewed for legality, clarity and fit with the site's audience. Acceptance of an advertisement does not mean Klymer has tested or endorsed the product.
6. Affiliate Links
If Klymer receives a commission from a link, the relationship is disclosed near the link or article. The disclosure does not change the reader's price unless clearly stated.
7. Data
Advertising partners may use cookies only under the choices described in cookies.php. Klymer does not sell personal information or build health profiles for advertisers.
8. Rejection
We may reject or remove an advertisement that is misleading, discriminatory, unsafe, unlawful or inconsistent with our editorial values. Rejection is not an assessment of a company outside the placement.
9. Complaints
Readers may report an advertising concern to Jalan Anggrek Raya No. 15, Kemanggisan, Palmerah, Jakarta Barat 11480, Indonesia, or +62 813 5792 4680.
10. Records
Campaign records may be retained for 24 months for billing, compliance and complaint handling. Access is limited to people who need the information for those purposes.
11. Jurisdiction
Commercial arrangements are reviewed with Indonesian legal and consumer expectations in mind. Advertisers remain responsible for the legality and substantiation of their claims.
12. Revision Log
5 October 2026: initial publication. Future changes will carry an effective date and explanation.
Commercial review detail
Before publication, Klymer may review landing-page claims, qualifying language, imagery, audience settings and the placement's relationship to surrounding editorial material. Review is not a certification of a product, service or advertiser. A placement can be paused while information is clarified or removed when it no longer meets this policy.
Advertising partners receive only the information needed for the placement they purchase, subject to the consent choices described in cookies.php. Klymer does not ask advertisers to target readers using inferred diagnoses, personal vulnerabilities or sensitive health categories. Reports are designed to use aggregate information where possible.
Potential sponsors may be asked to identify the contracting entity, destination URL, claims substantiation and any required legal notices. Klymer may decline a relationship where ownership, destination, audience practice or disclosure cannot be reasonably understood. Payment timing does not change editorial review or correction standards.
Readers may report an unclear label, misleading claim or technical issue through contact.php, by phone at +62 813 5792 4680, or by post to Jalan Anggrek Raya No. 15, Kemanggisan, Palmerah, Jakarta Barat 11480, Indonesia. We normally acknowledge a complaint within five business days and aim to provide an initial outcome within 30 calendar days.
Change record: this policy is effective 5 October 2026 and will be reviewed at least annually. Material changes to labels, sponsorship categories, targeting safeguards, disclosure placement or complaint handling will carry a new dated version.
The separation rule applies to banners, sponsored articles, affiliate links, newsletters, landing pages and other paid placements. Placement near an article does not make the article commercial, and a commercial relationship does not allow an advertiser to alter editorial wording. Labels are placed where a reader can see them before interpreting the material.
Creative review may consider the destination, ownership, claims, imagery, disclosures, audience settings and user journey. Acceptance is not a product assessment, laboratory finding or personal recommendation. Klymer may ask for supporting material, revise a label or pause a placement when the relationship or claim is unclear.
Advertising data is handled under the Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy. Optional measurement should use aggregate or pseudonymous information and should not be built around inferred medical conditions, vulnerability or a reader's private correspondence. Providers may process limited technical data outside Indonesia under their own contracts and security controls.
Readers can report a confusing label, inaccurate claim, unsuitable destination or privacy concern through contact.php, by phone at +62 813 5792 4680, or by post to Jalan Anggrek Raya No. 15, Kemanggisan, Palmerah, Jakarta Barat 11480, Indonesia. Klymer normally acknowledges a complaint within five business days and aims to provide an initial response within 30 calendar days.
Commercial correspondence is normally retained for up to 24 months after the relationship or complaint ends, unless a longer period is needed for accounting, dispute resolution or legal compliance. Change record: this policy is effective 5 October 2026 and will be reviewed in October 2027; material changes to labels, accepted categories, targeting safeguards or complaint handling will receive a dated update.
